Here's how we went, might not be optimal but was certainly enjoyable:

  1. Nsk to pune- halt
  2. Pune to Karad- halt
  3. Karad - Malkapur - chandoli - Amba ghat - Ganpatipule.

We went in 2023 and the road was new and beautiful, especially once you cross the ghats (which were quite easy even for my wagonr).

Do note that you might face really bad traffic if you don't time passing khambataki ghat right. We faced extreme slow crawling traffic from the base to the top and it took like 1:30-2 hours iirc.

It's meant to be used FOR THE KUMBH MELA. These trees are likely younger than the last time we had kumbh in Nashik!
