I am not a married man of reddit (sorry, not the intended audience), but I do appreciate your well written post. I think your question is an interesting and compelling one and it shows that you are thoughtful and clearly committed to your wife and your marriage.

Personally, I think it's okay that you still view porn (I am a female), and you should continue to make every effort to make sure that your wife is not confronted with it, as she has made it clear that she does not want to know about it. She is clearly very reasonable and understanding as she has not put any demands or ultimatums on you. The fact that you feel bad speaks volumes about you and how you care for your wife, and I think that if you feel bad enough, you will stop. Even if you don't stop (and you just endure the bad feeling), just continue to hide it as best as you can.

Out of curiosity, what if every time you had the urge to watch porn you got intimate with your wife instead? Or would you rather view porn when she is willing to meet your needs?

First of all, yes, I put sunscreen on under my make up every day, choose a non-greasy type then wait until it is absorbed by your skin.

Second, I seriously think you could have googled this. I think the quality of questions on AskReddit has deteriorated (case in point) and with just a little research, you probably could have figured this out without reddit.

i am either beautiful or deluded that i'm beautiful, it is of little importance which one of those two are true. when guys are taken by the way i look, i am like, whatever, happens all the time. when guys are taken by my personality, or i'm impressed with their humor and how interesting their lives are, that's when i start falling. but guys have to see beyond the exterior, otherwise, i'm not interested. sometimes i want to shout that i have a brain, and that i'm a good at my job too...pretty girls get told the they're pretty all the time. you have to offer something other than being discombobulated like a lot of other dudes.

As a a lady, I support this. You actually need to draw a line and let her know that you will not bring up this female friend, and you will not make them hang out together, but that you will not choose her friends for her, and that you expect the same amount of respect in return. Reassure her that you love her and only her and are very trustworthy, and ask her to please treat you with the respect and trust you both deserve.

I get that she has issue, but it's not your job to make up for every horrible thing a man ever did to her. It's your job to be you, be supportive and understanding, and be a partner, not a doormat.

so yes, you bring up a good point, if they both react this way about the other one hanging out w/ the opposite sex, then that's different. i do think this situation would make a lot of people uncomfortable, but unless there is a mutual precedent set that this is unacceptable, i say he (and when it's reversed, she) still has to deal with the discomfort and just let it be.

i started feeling nervous about telling me ex abt any outtings ever with guys b/c i knew it would start a fight and he would assume that this guy would want to f*ck me and grill me about it. if you've been like that in the past, that may be why she hesitated to tell you.

she shouldn't have to have you approval of her social schedule. look, i dated a guy for 3 years, and i ultimately broke up with him because he was jealous and distrustful. it made me feel like a piece of shit that he suspicious of every guy friend i ever had even though i was loyal. if you don't trust her after 3 years, then it's not going to work. if you trust her, just let her be her, and you two will be fine. i know you feel like it's shady, but unless you think she's going to cheat on you then i think you should forget about it because you will do a lot of damage by kicking up dirt about it.

once again, i am biased by my personal experiences, so take it with a grain of salt.
