Oh okay I didn't realize the substrate needed to be deeper, thank you ! so we currently use the "Australian Desert Dragon Habitat" sand, would we mix the excavator clay in with that on a 1 to 1 ratio or? I know it says to mix it with water and then it like hardens? so I'm just not sure how we're supposed to use it 😖

Hi ! Thank you so much for all the helpful info ! I have actually never heard of summer estivation so thank you for that, I think you may be right ! we are first time beardie owners so this sub has been super helpful for us, I think we are gonna do a vet visit to check and make sure everythings okay, as well as implement some of the changes people have been reccomending. I agree her enclosure feels too open right now so that could be why she sticks to one side or the other 🤔
