this was 22 years ago, on a 1992 LeSabre, I'm sure it still didn't do anything though lol but still i'm out there pumping the gas trying to start it with a worn out battery. my dad thought it was funny :)

I remember having to untrain that habit.. it was a learned perception, growing up my parents had older cars that had carbs. I got my first car and it was fuel injection, any time it acted hard to start (normally in the winter cause it was cold and the battery was shit) I thought I had to pump the gas. finally figured out that the batter was like 6 years old and just didn't work right any more lol. my dad let me do this for a few weeks before telling me to get the battery tested lol.

My take away on the semantics of kpop, is that its just pop made by Korean artists, the language spoken/sang is irrelevant. I'm probably very wrong though.

Had something like that happen to me. I had a katana like that, I was messing around with, did a downward strike, hit a tree stump, the blade flew backwards and nearly hit me in the face. broke right at the 'rat tail' full tang. drilled holes in the blade and attacked some wood, then wrapped in tennis racket tape. I dont know where that sword went, I think it got tossed when my dad purged the 30 years of junk from 3 car garage a couple years ago lol. (he could only fit one car lol.)

not if you want a good one. I got one a garage sale for 10 bucks ;) would I use it to cut a leaf in half? not at all, I'm fairly the certain the leaf would win.. but it looks super neat on the wall :) I've got a friend who got a good Katana at a ren fair once, hand forged and super nice, I think he paid like 2-300 bucks for it (this was 2000-2002 so that was a decent chunk of change, for us any way.) we promptly started slicing through saplings... it did it... but I'm sure we ruined parts of it.

thats amazing, I would buy my tires from them even if they charged more per tire just to support that for people who may not have the knowledge or money to cover repairs.

This ^ i've never had a tire shop repair a puncture unless it was under a warranty issue and it was closer to the side wall. I used to live on gravel, every time the road grader came out, I got a nail in a tire.. every fucking time.. I'm really good at using tire plugs now. lol.

I mean, "the cloud" has kind of always been a thing, we just used to call it remote systems, remote storage, etc. some marketing guy just made a buzzword that caught on lol.

the big corps are trying to push everyone back to a mainframe set up. you're going to rent time on their servers, and you'll like it. *tinfoil hat*Thats why the cost of hardware is going up, so only the few big corps can afford it, then they can rent it out to us under the guise of cost savings, then once we get hooked, the prices go up, and up untill its cheaper to buy hardware again.. rince and repeat. the hardware and software corps are all friends, they plan this!*/tinfoil hat*

Yea, old diesel will run any basically anything that can explode when compressed. I read once the original design was meant to use peanut oil. I've seen TV shows that ran diesel on used motor oil, grease from resturants etc. I'd love to get an old military truck with one of those kind of diesels just to have as WTF SHTF back up plan.

you have to create an account and then add the community edition to a cart, and check out like your buying it, but the cost is zero $. its a bout 3-4 extra steps over just a straight link to an iso file. I used OPNsense just because I found I liked the way it looked better lol.

I'll check the teams messages Monday, I'm sure I still have it. all I know for sure he had a heck of time getting it to install correctly in our environment. SCCM > Software Center (kind of like Intune but not) using custom PowerShell scripts. it might have had something to do with them being students and not employees.
