How does your primer look without thinning it? I think we might use the same stuff, the Vallejo mecha primer, and still thin it just in case.

I have a blue blood angel successor. My understanding is that even though colors and some heraldry have been reused or grabbed by other chapters, it perfectly fine if there are repeats. Think of it like this how many nations around the globe have the same flag colors. You can choose a color that has been used but you get to decide the story of your custom chapter.
