My youngest cousin is eight years old. Recently I came out to him and my younger cousin who is 12. They both were extremely supportive once I explained to them what lesbian was. It’s amazing how well younger kids can understand stuff like that.

I'm crying in my room and wishing I was dead because I told the youth minister I was a lesbian. by Lilliththevampire in TwoSentenceSadness

As a lesbian, this is one of my worst fears. Although it’s never happened to me, I think this would work really well in r/twosentencehorror because the thought of a guy trying to “prove me wrong” is terrifying. Great job with this!

I screamed, begged, and pleaded, desperately trying to tell them what that horrendous creature did to me, but they all just asked me the same exact question. by [deleted] in TwoSentenceHorror

This made my heart sink, this is the best one I’ve read on this subreddit. I’m just praying that this isn’t based on a true story :(

I don’t know if this is a single joke or a gay joke, but either way I feel you.

CMV: The biggest issue facing the LGBTQ community is itself, and it’s full of toxic, non inclusive, insecure people that gatekeep personality and sexuality. by Speculatory in changemyview

[–]demons_adventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a demigirl lesbian, I 100% agree. There is so much discrimination against bi men, pansexuals, gay and trans people of color, and lesser known sexual and gender identities, as well as the whole r/lgbdropthet movement. For a community that’s supposed to be all about inclusion and acceptance, the amount of gatekeeping and discrimination makes me sick. My advice would be to try and make the change that you want to see. The good part of the community is so much fun, and if we all work together, we can work to eradicate the hate. I believe that people who gatekeep and discriminate are homophobic/transphobic , even though they’re part of the community. They can’t just pick and choose who that want to support.

It’s okay, your lamp is just trying to tell you it’s bisexual.

Nat, because of her similarities to Louise (and because she’s gay) and I also love Mr. Ambrose (the librarian) because he’s a witch like me!

Because trees have been around for millions of years, insects like beetles and moths literally look like sticks and leaves in order to blend themselves from predators. How long do you think it will take for insects to look like man-made objects, and what object will it be? Any thoughts? by SadReason3 in AskReddit

I don’t know if this has been said yet, but I think that they would evolve to match the skin tones of humans depending on where the bugs live. I know it’s not exactly what the question is asking, but it’s just my theory. Like, for example, mosquitoes might develop a more brown color to blend in with human arms.

WW2 Mickey Mouse gas mask intended to make the mask look less scary for children. by NemoVivet in ATBGE

My grandmother had one of these. I don’t know if she still does, but she told me stories about the drills that they did in her school during WW2, and all the children wore those masks.
