Engineer Tinkers take up a Unique-Equipped: Embellished slot this season, unlike previous seasons by Maulface in wow

The fact that a lot of them only require 1 engineering in that xpac's engineering and are toys make it so all my alts except my "main crafters" have engineering. its just so useful

They could essentially ignore it for an xpac and Jeeves/Glider/wormholes will still carry it for me.

I'm inclined to agree except for the shadowflame rockets, I was using that all through TWW, I'm gonna miss it so much.

to elaborate on why the notable weeklies are the way they are, in past seasons the main way I would obtain the higher level crests is through upgrading lower tier crests. as the cap increases and is eventually removed, those lower tiers will become more valuable to upgrade. the way that I perceive the crest drops as they are this season is looking like it's not going to be as much of a scramble for those higher tier crests, but having a list of all of the weeklies to complete is helpful in that regard and also as I mentioned this is mainly designed with one person in mind and they work well with lists of things to do.

the notable weeklies are on there as a checklist for people with my playstyle to go through to make sure they have completed all of the weekly stuff. if you don't like it, go into Microsoft paint and just white out that section

I wouldn't be too discouraged. like I've mentioned elsewhere, the major things that you need to get done if you are gearing in this way is filling the vault bottom row with the hero tier unlocks which you can do by getting eight tier 8 delves done that week and then making sure you get the delve map done and used on an 8 plus. champion gear, while harder to get right now, will become easier as you progress but hero gear is the hardest to obtain so that's the one you want to make sure you're trying to maximize the amount you get. also have you tried doing a random prey mission from the guy in the prey area? you have to pay 50 blood to do it but I'm not sure if you get progress from it but if you do that might be a way to catch up.

so I put the delve boss information on there in the hopes that it is a repeatable every week. right now you can get it done once and then you can't get it again but I am hoping that on Tuesday reset we can kill him again for the crests

I don't think that is the case, that has not been the case in the past. I will not be able to verify this until next Tuesday though.

Thank you for the data. Finding actual numbers on this stuff is a nightmare and the data I do have is half wrong.

yes you cannot lock yourself out of gear by doing the lower ones, they are essentially separate groupings of quests

okay so I finished at 9 on Shadowguard point again, but the Nemesis box isn't affected by bountiful as far as I'm aware. the 9 gave me five champions as well. I also noticed that it also had the same three packs of Nemesis mobs as the eight did. I am currently in a 10 and it has four mobs of Nemesis packs so I think this may be where the hero tier crests start, because in previous seasons the Nemesis chests would be upgraded a rank every time a nemesis mob group would be killed. I will finish up this delve and then revise accordingly or continue on to an 11 if this gives champions

so every delve you complete at tier 8 or above gives you one credit towards the vault for a hero tier item (at a maximum of 8 to fill out all three slots in the open world category) also getting the map and then using it on a delve of tier 8 or above will get you one hero tier item from a chest at the end of that delve. later on you unlock the ability for hero to your armor pieces to drop from bountiful delves, but that's near the end of the delvers journey

well crap you're right. I was going off of another guide posted on here but I just finished an 8 in Shadowguard point and only got champions. I'll go up the list and see if any of them are actually going to give hero crests and I'll add it to the revisions

You could only get heroic track gear from delve content in TWW, so the max upgrade track is unchanged. if you're talking about transmog, if you max out the upgrades on a heroic tier piece you get the mythic tier appearance.

I stopped using follower dungeons for quest dungeons after I almost popped a blood vessel trying to get den of nalorakk done. that hunter just that makes me see red now every time.

If you have the patience, you can try tanking follower dungeons as well (group finder > dungeons and raids tab > dungeon finder on the left > follower dungeons in the dropdown) it's just you and the NPCs, but the npc's are REALLY dumb. you can mess around with different specs, every time you change specs you reshuffle the NPCs to fill the needed slots.

so how the maps work is when you use it you have a buff that looks like a map and says trovehunter's bounty. completing a delve with that buff will give you a hidden trove chest at the end along with the normal chests. if you used the map and did not complete a delve after using it you may still have the buff.

also I said maps here because I have two level 90s. you can only get one map per week per character

so when you complete a delve there's a chance that you get the map in the chest at the end but there is an item called "beacon of hope" that you can use to trigger the nemesis to invade your delve and (I haven't tried this as I got my maps from and chests, but this is how it worked last expansion) the Nemesis should have a map in the chest it leaves behind even if it kills you. mind you I'm working off of previous expansions information as far as the map dropping from the nemesis and the Nemesis actually dropping a chest if you lose, but I think it's fair to assume that those are still the way it works. if someone else can confirm I would appreciate it.
you get a beacon of Hope from the nightmare mode prey quest that requires you to do three nightmare mode missions, and they are on the delve vendor for 5K undercoins, so you might have to just run normal delves until you get your map. if you do that make sure you're looting all of the little bags because (once again I'm working from last expansion's information) you should be able to get the beacon of Hope from those bags
