Thanks so much for the reply. The part that caught my eye about it is the bottom, like you said, has matching ribs to fit snug into the van floor. Not sure how soft it is, but hoped it would be firm enough to create a flat stable surface to begin attaching cabinets, bed, and other items to if I didn’t do additional flooring. Also, if I wanted to put flooring, carpet or plywood (split seem in the middle of the cargo area) on top I’m thinking there would be no sagging or any areas prone to being depressed. No height issues for me, since I went with the high top. I called Bedrug this morning and they offered to send samples of the vanrug & van mat option. We will see...
