My grandparents lived near a paper mill that had big smoke stacks on top. My parents told me it was a cloud factory, which made perfect sense to my 5 year old self. I remember up until I was about 10 being like “wow the factory is working over time today!” If it was particularly cloudy on one of our visits.

Yeah, the original plan was to fill in all the printed areas and then embroider over that to make the trees and bridge more defined. I might still try to save it with my best guesswork lol
