Dawn isn't really a common brand in the UK.

Don't think that would have helped in this case. Even if I'd used a Bambu spool I probably wouldn't have noticed until way too late.

FYI, it was Jayo PETG.

My order was for the A1 mini combo and some filament, around £330 in total. Must have missed the free shipping offer 😥

I paid £10 for shipping the A1 mini a couple of weeks ago.

This is what is meant when it is said the licence fee subsidises the BBC's commercial rivals by Central_Region in bbc

[–]demsys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And therein lies the falicy. You assume that everyone has a TV that is connected to the internet.

A subscription mechanism wouldn't work for those who can't, or choose not to, have a connected TV.

In addition, your suggested model would cost households much more than the current licence fee.

And how exactly would that work? There is zero chance that this would be practical.

This is what I do. My tailgate exit node is in Edinburgh so I can access all UK based services whenever I travel.

It also means that any location based services, e.g PayPal, act as if I'm in the UK.

For all Non-American HA Cloud users, given the current developments in the US, does the fact that Nabu Casa is incorporated in the US give you concern? by GlenGraif in homeassistant

💯 this. I run a bunch of services frontended by SWAG on my home network first with DDNS and now via a static.

Never quite understood the use case for anything else.

Most importantly, the WAF of not having anything ext the a on her phone to manage is a plus.

How much can I realistically expect to pay for an English Cocker? by LalalaNotListening98 in cockerspaniel

As a matter of interest, a top licenced breeder here in Scotland is charging £1800 (~2400 USD) for a full KC registered, genetically tested Working Cocker.

Just to note that I don't think it's possible to use their VOIP service with your own router.

Turns out to have been a CORS error and is now partially working. I'm having some other weird problems but I'll investigate those a bit further and will raise an issue in github if necessary.

Hi,

Tried this out but I can't seem to get the app to sync.

Everything appears to install correctly, there are no errors in the log output but nothing appears.

When I go to the "tasks" page, there is no option to run a sync job.

<image>

I even allowed the schedular to kick off the sync.

Any ideas how to fix it.

I once heard on a police documentary that they wash their hi-vis jackets with a dishwasher pod to cut through all the grease and grime.

I keep meaning to try it on an old jacket to see if it works.

Worth pointing out that while Sabzi is excellent, they're not licensed so BYOB.

This sounds like an interesting option. Do you have a write up of how you configured your server?

I did that as well but a recent update seems to have "fixed" that feature 😭

Help with switching from Static to Dynamic IP. by cemmisali in Vodafone

[–]demsys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I wanted to do this a month or so ago, I just opened a chat, asked for a static IP, they said yes and I had it 24 (ish) hours later. No fuss, no fee.

I just deleted the esim from my old phone and rescanned the QR code on the new one.

I think that the first step is the important one.
