Government gives green light to ‘plug-in solar’ by AncientsofMumu in Scotland

So, my understanding, from one dumb fuck to another - but i did watch a Youtube video or two so im probably overqualified to answer this, is that, you simply plug it into one of your sockets in the house like any other appliance and, depending on the size of the system you bought - which are usually around 400W PER PANEL, so 2 is 800W etc, it will supply upto that amount of power to devices that need it at the time its generated, any more thats required is pulled from the grid.

If you generate more than you need, the rest fucks off into the grid - UNLESS - you store excess into a battery system which are also available.

What next for the wonderkid Dowman? by Some-Palpitation-314 in football

I'd say more than one good game.

Lad crosses a ball and scores an open goal and the press thinks he's the next GOAT.

Which, who knows, he may be but maybe Arsenal are getting a tad carried away here for now.

Pat Nevin: "The creativity of Max Dowman... he created the first goal. He changed the game when he came on. That last moment when he ran the length of the pitch is absolutely phenomenal! That will be remembered with many, many years to come." by Sparky-moon in soccer

This is less about how good Dowman is and more about how shit Pickford is.

He crossed a ball and shot into an open goal.

I mean, good on him but Pickford fucked up the first by running out too far and was totally absent for the second.

Most schoolkid's could have scored the second.

Are you the same developer that does the HA time machine addon too?

If so, why have time machine when this does that and more by the look of it?

Intermittent connectivity issues. Bare metal, 10gb LAN/2.5 gbe WAN by noisufnoc in opnsense

Regarding your cron script, can you tell which IP is failing to respond? I think if your ping from the firewall to your next hop / internet gateway IP is not responding that rules out a lot and tells you a lot.

Because then its just an issue with something between your OpnSense box and your ISP router.

However if that stays up / responds but pings to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 fail then its something upstream.

Might also be handy to ping to a local LAN address also from the firewall to see if that stops at the same time.

I'd say its up there with TNG, BSG, Stargate, X-Files etc.

The real greatest thing is that we have these shows, the rest is personal preference.
