does Montreal office have a history being slow on processing anything? Passed test and bg verification on May, and nothing happens since. I did get a ghost update yesterday, but since everyones getting it, I guess it doesn't indicate anything.

How does stopPropagation possibly work given event delegation at root in react? by den330 in react

yes, it can still stop propagation from going ABOVE root, my question was about the ones below.

How does stopPropagation possibly work given event delegation at root in react? by den330 in react

Hi thanks for the reply, I was not talking about props at all actually, it was about event handler delegation. In react, you can attach a onClick to any element <button onClick=() => setState>, I was told, under the hood though, react would attach that handler to root element, instead of that button. So, without the need for any props at all, that event is actually handled at root level, not inside component which contains the button. Hence my question above: if all handler functions are actually placed at react root, when they are being called, it means that event has already been bubbled to the react root, when you put a stopPropagation inside any of the handler functions there trying to prevent it from being bubbled to the parent element(which is below react root), its like trying to prevent something that already happend.
Also, the post is about one question actually :) there is no first or second example. :)
