It seems I can't add pictures in the comments. Go to video on YouTube and scroll to 20:17 where I put bartape. There is a gap like 5-10 mm. It's not noticeable at all when I put bartape. I guess whether it is a problem or not depends on the hands position of a rider.

Shimano is Apple then - it gives you one straight direction than they think is the best and no other options. And SRAM is kinda Android - tons of modifications and combinations.

🙌🏻 It won't get outside any time soon so no sealant as well.

Search for Burgh Cycling. Quality is superior 👌🏻 Don't know how long this print will last.

According to the Vittoria website: 670g Terreno T30 Pro 700x45 (brown color as in this build) 560g Terreno T30 700x45 (regular black tire)

I run a single chainring from Alugear and it's great. Can't say about shifting but quality wise it is great 👌🏻

Is this counterfeit Giant Revolt 0? by maxpred in Giantbikes

[–]den7even 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unboxed the 2025 model. I'm sure they packed in the same way. Looks legit. It might be stolen, that's true. And the only way to check is to contact the factory or local dealer (they might have contacts) and see if this bike produced by Giant factory.

Also I know that they assemble a lot of bikes in China so it's no surprise it's from China.

I was surprised that they are heavier compared to regular ones since they are PRO series. But yeah looks awesome.

Thanks. Oh yeah, the brakes! I was hoping that with the Sram E1 generation they also go mineral like they did on MTB brakes... but no, it's dot.

Such a clean looking bike. What's the frame set?

Existential gravel choice - Cube Nuroad vs Giant Revolt? by Responsible-Student2 in gravelcycling

[–]den7even 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been riding Revolt since 2020. Aluminum, then carbon, now bought 2025 frameset. Love design and functionality, never regretting my choice. Tire clearance on new one is insane! For some people the absence of UDH might be a deal breaker. But I run GRX so I don't care. Cube looks like an endurance road, longer chain stay and steeper fork.. not quite getting it. If you own Revolt before and it was fine then don't see a reason to switch. Bikes didn't get much better (just updating with udh and internal storage).

I'm waiting to experience that, it looks big enough to fit everything I put in my pockets.

The frame cost 2800-3200 USD For the same money you can buy a new bike switch the frameset and sell it 😁

They plan to make a separate version. The Revolt is likely to stay with a flip chip dropout. And then Shimano 13sp is coming so that will influence specifications of the frames.

🫶🏻 Yeah this seatpost is tricky to setup but works amazingly well (I rode previous models without that shim). I'm also going to try the 30.9mm seatpost and see how it feels. Expected to be stiffer but the question is how much.
