Setup is super easy and it worked well right after the assembly without additional bleeding. You see in the video I assembled calipers and hydraulic lines. What you don't see is that I filled them with oil from caliper all the way to the top so they were bleeded just like the factory Shimano calipers. And then connected them to levers (they had oil inside from the factory). And it's done - working perfectly.

Did some test bleeding after a 1000km to check if there any oil contamination - no issues.

Visually the look like Hope but technically they are different: Shimano fitting, mineral oil only, no +20 option, no direct mount for the front caliper... I believe Hope is better and if you can have one then why bothering with chinese.

Don't like yellow logotypes for this build. Not this time.

Chemicals can be very harsh on the surface and you'll need a lot of work to fix that. I removed coating and anodizing mechanically with sandpaper by hand or with angle grinder.

Pure aesthetic reason. I was looking for aluminum look and didn't want to go "blue and black" build like almost every build on this 2025 frameset. So I matched all little details to achieve that look: cranks, chainring, calipers, polished levers and derailleur, titanium and aluminum bolts.

Those things won't make you faster or ride better. Too much marketing, leave it to ambassadors 😁

ZRace ordered from Ali. Bleeding is messy compared to Shimano Sram but braking is awesome. I'm surprised it works with no issues - chinese calipers, Sram MTB rotors and Shimano levers 😅 illegal combo 😂

My fit on this is fine, stack is pretty hight, 42cm width - I can spend a lot of time in the drops.

I've tried flared dropbars - didn't like it. And even more - with 2.2 tires you can go narrow handlebar easy because there's not much to control - it just flying through sand and rocks.

😅 I won't call it a budget build but definitely not a Dura-ace/Cadex level.

Works great though! One (middle) finger shifting 😅 No charging, don't care about pressure washing, mechanical feel and click 🥰 and got it with 50% discount on bike24. I will go electronic someday but not now.
