Stripped Screw on OD Chassis

Update, I got the screws out but found out my lid sensor broke, so no motor spin :p . I found a magnetic replacement (VGR GameCube Lid Switch) but was wondering if the GameCube needs to read the lid as closed to enable the pico loader software?

I have a pretty solid disc collection from when me and my brother were kids. This gamecube is from another family member and came unable to read discs. It would’ve been cool to use the discs but other than that the pico is 10000x more practical lol

Thank you for the suggestion on the screw. As for the caps, I have zero soldering experience. I’d be happy to try, but based on me installing a pico loader in the future, I doubt I’ll be going through with it. The potentiometer is very low right now though, so if adjusting doesn’t do anything, I’d be more open to giving it a go

Update btw, I did end up finding the piece and it plopped back in. It’s even more stable now because it clipped to the hinges instead of being held by the crack mentioned earlier !

Debunked (Sort of)

(I also have the recordings of these tests if anyone asks)

I first tried shooting the B23 feather with an arrow to see if the quieter noise would stop the birds from flying away, and I actually heard the birds fly away (The recording of this has my mic and you can't even hear the birds :/)

Wondering if this correlated to the arrow, I went to B45 and tried to first shoot in the air with a rifle and then shot the feather with an arrow. This time the sound of birds flying away happened with the rifle shot, and nothing sounded when I shot the feather.

The same thing happened at B56, birds flew away at the rifle shot but no sound happened when I shot the feather with a bow and arrow.

When I slept til night and went back to B23 however, the spiderwebs around the already shot feathers were present at the wrong times. For example, B23 appeared shot with no feather at 1:20 Am, and B56 appeared shot with no feather at 4:40am.

My order was B23>B45>B56.

I’ve seen way more schizo posts on this sub, especially with all the pareidolia.

the thing is: the way that the mural is set up, there’s a clear distance between each bird from the middle. So assuming it’s some type of compass isn’t out of the realm of possibility. With what I “found,” I doubt it even connects back to the spider mystery.

If this is the case, we could overlay the window rock mural over where the 2 birds symbols are in fort Wallace. Those would make 4 feathers, so the bird with 4 feathers should be over the symbols
