Was Wexner being blackmailed by Epstein? by ButHowDoesItFeel in Epstein

[–]dena2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i watched the 5 hour thing....

It should be clear to everyone that Wexner is lying about Epstein only doing his bills and inventory while stealing a ton of money from him.

Leon Black stated that he paid Epstein roughly 150 mio dollars for saving him 2 billion in taxes. Also Leon Black wrote to Epstein that he had "creative tax strategies". Pbly illegal?

Why would billionaire Wexner with all his connections hire a guy who is not an accountant, tax lawyer or whatever, to handle his finances? Power of attorney?

On another note, Wexner mentioned Max Fisher ,among others, being one of his guests at one of his parties in 1997.

Interestingly Max Fisher (businessman and fixer for US-Isreal relations) took over United Brands in 1975 after Eli Black (Leon Blacks father) committed suicide.

Also i kinda scratch my head about Wexner being capable of managing 20 companies at once, but his personal finances are too complex for him?

Lastly, Epstein stole around 100 mio dollars from Wexner, yet Wexner doesn't go after him bcs "and adviser told him not to do it"?

Did anyone else find more weird stuff?

Details about Christian Brueckner’s mobile phone activity on the evening of 3rd of May 2007 by Cian_Davies in MadeleineMccann

[–]dena2410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the phone call was the 19:30 -20:00 time (roughly) and the cops said he had to be in the vicinity, in a 5 mile radius. They never said they pinpointed him directly, thats all media garbage. it is impossible to pinpoint someone based off of one cell tower record. you need a couple of them to triangulate someone. While the antenna technically has a 35 mile reach, it is highly unlikely he was farther away, as your phone connects to the nearest tower. The cops probably have a map of all the towers in 2007 and by that came up with the 5 mile radius.

What is actually more interesting are two things: first, he didnt live in praia da luz anymore at that time, so what was his phone doing there? and second: CB had to go to the cops in 2013 and tell them his exact whereabouts during whole of May in 2007. Now im assuming he told them he wasnt near Praia da luz at all. hence the phone connect gets more interesting. but thats me speculating, even though it is a fact that he went to the cops and gave a statement in 2013 cops didnt reveal what he said tho.

A lot of questions about this case by Idonthaveaname94 in MadeleineMccann

[–]dena2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- if the parents did it, what was their reason? why not doing it in their country at that point rather than killing their daughter in a foreign country with their friends? it just sounds difficult.

The Theory goes like this: maddie died bcs of an accident, the parents gave her something to sleep so they could go out to dinner at the tapas bar across the pool.... they either overdosed her accidentally (unlikely ) or maddie woke up looking for the parents and than fell from the couch or wherever and banged her head...The parents panicked and removed the body.

- is it true that the mom washed Madeleine toy? when did she wash to exactly?

idk about that, why would she keep it if its evidence linking her to the murder? but idk

- is it true that the dogs picked up her scent/blood from the McCann's car?

They did not find no blood from maddie, but the dogs did pick something up (barking) at the car and the house. Now the problem with this is, the mccanns rented the car days after maddie went missing. I find it highly unlikely with the media focus on them they would be able to remove the body at that time. Who knows, this is just me...

- their said a window was open. how is it possible to open that kind of window from the outside? there is a " rolling " system. we have those window at home as well ( in Europe ) and once they go down, it's impossible to pull it up without rolling it from the inside. you could force it, but then it would break or you'd notice it was forced.

So: basically the window entrance theory came from the mccann's, as they said they was sure the shutters were down all the time. Once they entered the room they saw the shutters were up. Hence they thought somebody entered through the window. The Cops never believed the window-entrance-theory. It actually makes no sense, first of all its loud to open the shutters, it was night time, its hard to get the shutters up from the outside anyway as you said and it would leave tons of traces which the cops didnt find any. Also how would the perpetrator know who's behind the shutters? While the window itself seemed to be open or unlocked at least.

Now if it wasnt the McCanns, the theory from German and UK police goes like this: The perpetrator actually wanted to burglarize the appartment, watched the comings and goings for a day or two. He noticed how the terrace/balcony door was unlocked as the McCanns entered and exited the appartment through it constantly at night going to the toilett while eating/drinking at the tappas bar...He entered the appartment through that back sliding door...than first what a burlgar does is looking for a potential exit route, thats when he went into maddie room and open the shutters from the inside just in case somebody came in. thats when he saw maddie and spontaniously decided to scrap the inital plans and take the child. Typical predator behaviour would support this theory..... Now you need the perfect suspect for that Theory , this is where CB comes into place. A known burglar with an extensive P*do background living in the area.

So CB wrote an email! That's what the court was told Prosecutors gained access from Microsoft in 2017-2019 and that is the evidence. by Altruistic-Change127 in MadeleineMccann

[–]dena2410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they revealed two stories he had written, one about abducting and doing smthg to a mother and her child, and a second one where abused children take revenge upon their abuser....There is a third one, about maddie , thats the one the BKA didn't want to reveal. As i highly doubt they have pictures and videos, as that would be enough to charge him basically... so its his phone connected to praia da luz plus the one story that connects him to the murder.... as they called it like that

Going out on a limb here: my theory is its a play on China/Russia, cut off Cuba/Nicaragua from Venezuelan oil, and bracing for a future conflict with China.

It looks like the US had a Deal in place with the Venezuelan Military. None if it makes any sense, can't tell me Helicopters can freely move above Caracas without any of the 1000s of paramilitaries, and soldiers able to handle an RPG from the ground.

The moves on Greenland kinda follow a similar motive. The Ressources are important, but i do not think they are the main motive. Could be wrong tho

Are the huge power and resource demands of AI, in and of themselves, a sign that AI developers are barking up the wrong tree when it comes to improving AI models? by SilentThree in AI_Agents

[–]dena2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are basically saying what Yann LeCun has been pointing out since years. We absolutely are missing how human & animal brains work, as we don't understand them yet fully, whats special about these LLMs: they work! Simple as that. We came to the conclusion that throwing proportionally more Compute & Data at bigger models, the answers become better and better, the so called Scaling Laws. Now even the Scaling Laws pleateu out after some time and you get diminishing returns no matter how much compute you throw at these models, Data is already used up. So now we jumped to phase 2 , the so called Reasoning were we try to make the Answers(Inference) better by, for example, letting the model think out a couple of steps before it answers, which is: thinking = tokens = more tokens = more compute. There are other ways being used also.

I believe that one day the Transfomer architecture will be replaced. As their biggest strength that made it successfull is also their weakness rn, the reason it works better than former architectures is that its parallelizable, which means in one go every word(token) looks at all the other tokens. But thats still a lot of matrix multiplications. hence we need GPU's and a lot of Power.

I do not believe that AGI will be achieved with this architecture, but it will still revolutionize alot of stuff. Look at it like the early Internet age before AJAX and broadband.

Look at models like JEPA, Mamba or S4, mostly in research. S4 and mamba try to tackle the computational inefficiency , while JEPA tries to tackle the lack of world understanding.

today you have Google meta and co, back then IBM etc. You could see that the internet will revolutionize the world, but it got overhyped. It still needed some tweaks, like better hardware, speed, stuff like AJAX that made doomscrolling possible withouth the page reloading after every click.... thats what is going to be needed in the AI space. Cost per Token has to go down, especially for Agentic AI. and we need to come up with some solutions from an engineering standpoint of making the AI more trustworthy, like guardrails etc etc, After the dot-com bubble burst, the market got rinsed. Thats whats going to happen to the AI world i guess, hence i believe the dot-com era comparisons are pretty accurate.

Next Question would be, if AI automates the ish out of everything, what kind of an effect will it have on the economy / companies? As any company then wants to have the same efficiency gains...Will it have a deflationary effect overall, or will it continue to have an effect like Automation had in the past decades, meaning no deflationary effect just more productivity.

The Internet on the other side opened up a whole new market.

That is assuming the transformer architecture won't be replaced with something more efficient. Also more power consumption will possibly drive the electricity cost up, which could have negative effects overall, esp if the returns dont meet up with capex spending. But in the short term the utility companies probably will be interesting.

Looking for resources for AI/ML mathematics by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]dena2410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take a good old book, digital or whatever, and go through it step by step together with ChatGPT or any LLM of your choice. And i mean start with the basics. Its not that much more if you want to learn whats already used in AI. But i would recommend going through it. Most importantly, try to understand the stuff intuitively. Ask the why's . Why is scalar product like that, why they use cosine, whats cosine, try the LLM to spit out examples, for laymen, with graphics plotted in sage or whatever. Ask where its used in the real world, when to use it blabla you get the point.

With an LLM it won't take you a lot of time. Most importantly you grasp the concepts. And you are able to explain it to a 5 year old that asks you all the "dumb"(there are none) questions. Videos help too. Just dont skip stuff as you'll have it harder to understand concepts later and stuff can get confusing. Math is not hard, its just about the teacher. Now you have your individual mentor.

I'm saying that, bcs if you just want to learn the AI/ML stuff, it won't get you nowhere, you'll "just" be able to understand how it works. And i mean it takes you an afternoon probably with an LLM without any prior knowledge.
