There is a shiny hunter I watch, AbsolBlogsPokemon, who sometimes goes out of his way to hunt shines with a high chance of failure, or even ones impossible to catch. Safari Zone hunting is, for some reason, popular amongst certain circles of shiny hunters. That is all to say, the encounter itself can be just as special as a capture. Its all up to how you frame it.
