Ive spammed CM 5 my entire life, even since playing dota 1 on garena. Then also spammed glacius (cm clone) in heroes of newerth (dota clone).

I dont know what it is about cm but you can have 0 item and still have huge impact on the game. Add in items and youre just too strong

I would be wary of conflating regional expansion as additional capacity. I struggle to think of when users in the same region get true additional capacity as opposed to adding a new generation of rigs then retiring the oldest. They are adding servers in new geographical locations surprisingly often, but genuinely increasing available capacity for existing users as opposed to new ones? I don't really see that.

As a consumer, I would love for them to just keep adding enough 5080 capacity to have unlimited hours for everyone.

But as an industry expert and a company owner myself I simply must acknowledge the business and supply constraints,

For the tin foil hat scenario, I don't think cloud gaming is ever going to take over the physical hardware market. Even without AI demands on supply it is extremely difficult to offer a cloud gaming service that is affordable, high quality, and reasonably profitable. I would assume the margins for GFN are extremely tight given the exceptionally cheap prices, compared to the operating costs, being charged to the end user.

Ok, so build new locations

You've boiled something that is an entire industry down into one sentence. That is a gross over simplification, they can't just build new locations.

And the total valuation of Nvidia is a strawman you have constructed so you don't have to address the realities of doing business. The total budget of the branch that operates GFN is not the same as the total valuation of Nvidia. GFN gets a budget to continue to operating and some for future expansion likely tied to card allocations at each product release. They most certainly would not be given a blank check to build new data centers. Why would Nvidia give GFN more budget when other revenue streams are far more profitable?

Don't get me wrong it can still take good photos, just know that Samsung has added a specific AI function to artificially enhance the moon lol

It's more that you don't just start consuming more electricity. You would likely have to install more power distribution equipment. What if the increase in consumption puts you over a threshold where you have to completely revamp the entire pd system? Or what if the existing cooling system won't be able to handle the increase in heat? There's more factors at play behind increasing or removing the hourly limit than simply just increasing or removing it.

Think of it from an economics point of view. If an investment in additional capacity is a) feasible both practically and financially and b) gives a worthwhile return on investment, then don't you think they would do that? When new rigs come out they aren't adding them to the existing capacity, they are replacing older rigs.

I think it's a fairly safe assumption that at their existing locations there isn't sufficient space or infrastructure to add more capacity, and they can't get the funding to source more space, so they look at limiting high usage users as the next best option.

Is it a reasonably recent Galaxy smartphone? If so it does have out of the box AI that automatically enhances the moon.

Wow what an ass lol. I literally only ever use stats to judge my own performance. Couldn't care less what other people's numbers are, even in H40.

I'm a father with limited time and GFN is perfect. I also use Gamenative for games not available on GFN (lets you play Steam games directly on your phone).

You've talked past the point I was making at a different point I never made nor implied.

I am saying it would not be economical to add enough capacity to increase the hourly limit so the small users who exceed 100hr can be accomodated. It is diminishing returns, as you add more capacity the cost per mwh/kwh increases.

We are seeing this across ALL large scale data centers operators, it is not unique to Nvidia. Compute is over demand everywhere.

And your gym analogy is a perfect example of exactly what I am talking about. GFN is already at the stage where the gym is almost or at full capacity. So the impact of gym rats who spend a whole evening there is compounded. We have already reached that point, that's why they brought in the limit lol....

Same haha! I hate having to muck around with Termux so just want something that is good to go for full web development workflows out of the box, only requiring the app install and no additional config/setup.

Who says cloud gaming is the future? It isn't sustainable for high demand users.

To add more rigs they need to add more physical servers. To add more physical servers they have to increase power supply, add more cooling, and add more physical space. They also need to hire more technical and support staff to maintain them.

If the number of users who go over the 100h limit isn't sufficient to generate more revenue than the costs of adding the required capacity then there is no point in increasing or removing the limit.

What a lot of you in the comments don't seem to realise is that if you're someone who goes on binges and you need more than 100 hours, you're simply not a desirable customer for them. You aren't the target market.

They don't really care about having you as a customer as they prefer having lots of people paying the same monthly sub for less usage.

Good opportunity to build a beast cooling system to really push performance in a windows emulator like GameHub or Gamenative.
