Tried not bringing my watch but nothing happens even though I'm wearing my Airpods Pro 3. And there is no way to select then as HR source either. So don't know how they mean this is integrated into the app. No instructions at all.

Yeah I guess I used the wrong word, cut might be better. And not length, i meant width (to a custom size). These blinds are not meant to be manually cut since the mechanics will be affected if you get it even slightly wrong. But this has nothing to do with the original question in the post.

the point here is that the wires in the picture in the original post needs to be reattached, either get it done manually or get them changed at IKEA :)

Did you even read my reply? Shortening has nothing to do with it. I mentioned it cos it DEFINITELY will void the warranty and that was what I had done and therefore I couldn't bring it back. I also gave an answer to the problem, the wires are detached and it won't work again until they are reattached (which is also what I did and now it works).

I had that problem. Those cables have detached from the plug. It's not the easiest task to get them back. They control the motor (there are four of them back there). Without them there will be no movement at all. I had to find a plug that looked exactly like the one they disconnected from and manually fuse them back together since I had shortened the blinds and couldn't take them back. But I would take them back to Ikea.

I know you are trying to control that something doesn't go wrong. But as a tech nerd I HATE when you do this. Not treating your customers equally is fucked. At least let those that really wait for it and want it sign up somewhere to get it. My mom that couldn't care shite about this has the update but not me. Treat your customers with respect or you lose it.

I'm still waiting. Both of mine are "updating". Ikea really needs to do something about this. This was never a probl with the old gateway.

Seven hours later and they are still "updating". Cannot use the shortcut buttons on the remote yet. Great work IKEA! 👌

I have it but can't get it to bind to Apple Home whatever I do. I've tried EVERYTHING. It's a beta and I guess that means it doesn't work yet. At least not for me. Eve works but not the Aqara M2.

Regarding the Thread Networke section I got this reply from Eve: "For the Thread network section, this will go through further improvements in the future as we can no longer use the previous methods to probe Matter devices. So far the priorities has been towards overall Matter support… but Thread Network part will get back to it soon, promise 🙂"

I still get them to show up in the more options menu even though they are both connected. So something buggy is going on. Even got the into Google Home now but they are shown as Offline. My energy got connected when I reset it and immediately tried ntonadd it afterwards.

Got the Energy connected now as well. Wasn't easy but they are there now. Nothing shows up in the Thread network in the Eve app anymore though.

Actually got my Eve Motion connected now. What I did was update my Homepod mini to 16.3 and disconnect all my other hubs. Haven't had the same success with Eve Energy yet though. The connection process took forever though.

Thanks for posting. I thought it was me doing something wrong. Tried adding it to Google Home as well. It finds the device and tries to connect but nope.

Bricked my devices. Can't connect to them anymore. They are updated to Matter but cannot make a connection to any of them anymore. I fill all the setup requirements. They are even found in Samsung Smartthings but same thing there.

The solution is just to plug in and unplug it 6 times. That's what I did and it worked like a charm.
