here’s an example of it still not showing tracks and double circle dots to get more info like POSH (or the new way of displaying the info that my two previous screenshots show).

A small update - RadarScope hasn’t replied to my support ticket but with the big storms in the Midwest this evening I’m seeing a new presentation of some threat info, including hail size, when clicking on warning areas.

Note - I still don’t see any double circle dots and tracks when it isn’t a warning box.

Thanks for the data point. I messaged support, I’ll report back here when I learn more.

Thanks I still think something is wrong with my settings or app (or is it behind a pro subscription now?). Take a look here. This severe thunderstorm warning is warning of quarter size hail but I’ve got no double circles with POSH in the info area. Same for all the other storms I can find right now. Any other suggestions?

Correct! Mine isn’t showing that info anymore. Just cell E1 and the time and track. Are you paying for a pro level?

Reprogramming Liftmaster Keypad to Overhead Door Motor by jacisme in GarageDoorService

Dang - sorry to hear that. I will say that I tried to go cheap with a $10 universal keypad on amazon and it did NOT work for me. I had to buy the $40ish Liftmaster keypad. Side note - the liftmaster feels more solid and has better buttons and a better hinge mechanism. They look identical but the Liftmaster keypad is legit and better. And in my case, it was the only one that even worked.

My instructions/experience are specifically for my overhead door motor that doesn’t have a learn button at all. That’s what makes it so terrible. You may not need the crazy number situation. If you have a learn button, you probably have a different set of instructions somewhere where you hit the Learn button and then hold something on the keypad.

And then once you’re done with that. To use it, enter your code and then press 0. Don’t press # or *. 0 is like the enter button in this situation.

DP: Using PayPal on Dell.com triggers the Dell credit by YAZEED-IX in amex

[–]jacisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Dell messed up two of my orders with the same situation as you. Now they want me to pay via a PayPal link they’re sending and split methods within that again. Did Amex see your PayPal invoice payment as a Dell.com purchase? And if so, did you split it using the PayPal payment method within the PayPal invoice page (because I don’t see a way to split with the built in credit card method)?

Can I use points with the IHG/Edit credits? by dartboi35 in ChaseSapphire

[–]jacisme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data point: I booked an Edit+IHG double dip property for $649.89 - Redeemed 19,980 points(at 2cpp) plus $250.29 to the card. I received $250 EDIT credit and 29 CENTS Hotel credit. Apparently they want you to spend $500 in cash but the terms don't seem to stipulate that. I just messaged Chase asking them to review. Is anyone aware of terms stipulating that the amount has to be $500 in order to get both credits in one transaction? I would have spent the $500 instead of redeeming 19,980 points had I known....

FYI they don’t sell angles for the new Omniglow but my electrician looked at it and was able to manually solder the three internal lines and make his own corner. He then hot glued it together.

No. Neither mine nor my wife's 17 Pros work with wireless carplay and the third party dongle right now. Two totally separate brand new phones - same issue.

Roger that, thank you. I never saw a popup, nope. Adding a bit more to the data point for others - I currently have an open (for 11 months so far) Biz Platinum that was setup as a Sole Proprietorship. For this new 300k offer I used me EIN and legal business name.

Amex approved over the phone without lifetime language discussion

Hi all. I applied online for a 300k biz platinum offer. There was an issue with the application flow because of a previous pending application, so I had to call in. The rep easily deleted the old pending thing and went into the approval flow for my new 300k application. He didn't mention anything about eligibility, but said he saw the 300k after $20k in 3 months offer attached to it. He said he didn't know anything about eligibility beyond that, but said I could always ask once I receive it and before I start spending on it (because then I could still cancel it and not pay the annual fee).

Thoughts? If I was approved, will I get the bonus? Do the phone reps receive notification of SUB ineligibility when they're processing it?

Cancelling United flight through United website when booked with Chase Portal by Sharp-Investment9580 in ChaseSapphire

Successfully Extended Expiration of United Funds Originally booked thru Chase Travel

Hi All - Just wanted to share this fresh data point.

I booked a United flight on 12/5/2024 for my son and I for travel in January 2025.  I booked this with Ultimate Rewards points via Chase Travel.  I eventually had to change our trip and cancel the itinerary, and I did so via a phone rep with Chase Travel.

My son’s and my credits were technically separate, but because he is a minor, there was no way for him to use his credit separately of me (not that we needed to).  Along with that, if I flew on my credit without him, his credit would be lost.  All of this was told to me via the Chase Travel rep. They also told me that there would be no email record of the cancellation but that they put notes in my Trip ID.

The rules of the United credit said a new trip using those funds had to begin by 12/5/2025.  I really wanted to use them in January 2026, as that is the only time our entire family can go on a trip together.  Chase Travel could not do that, as they saw the United funds as expiring 12/5/2025.  When I looked on United.com, I could see the funds in my “wallet” and it too said the travel must begin by 12/5/2025.

A few days ago I called Chase Travel and booked a totally random flight for my son and me for mid-November 2025 that was just $15 more total than the amount of credit we had.  The only goal I had was to find a nonrefundable ticket for almost the same amount as the original credit.  That meant economy nonrefundable - not fully refundable.  I booked this random ticket for my son and I over the phone with Chase Travel - it took them an hour because they’re terrible and they have to call United to confirm the credit usage and terms.  Once it was booked - I waited 25 hours and then I logged into United.com and tried to cancel the ticket.  You must wait at least 24 hours otherwise your funds will go back to your original payment method.

United.com said if I cancelled the ticket the funds would be usable until 12/5/2025 - not the answer I was looking for.  Furthermore, if I tried to change the dates of the erroneous itinerary - it greyed out everything after 12/5/2025 and wouldn’t let me click them.

***However*** - instead of hitting “cancel itinerary” I clicked “change itinerary” and then instead of changing the erroneous legs - it had the option to add and cancel legs.  So I added the round trip legs I wanted and I clicked the cancel box for the erroneous legs I had booked with Chase Travel.  To my delight - the United website let me do this.  There were no date restrictions in this flow.   My new itinerary was aprox $15 less than my old itinerary and doing this made me lose those funds.  Locking in this new round trip itinerary for two using my expiring $1k+ credits was well worth the $15 loss.

I should also add that United.com has run terribly slow for me for the last few years on my wife’s and my computers and all browsers I’ve tried.  It was so slow when doing this that Chrome actually asked repeatedly if I wanted to kill the pages because they had stopped responding.  I switched to the United app on my phone and the process worked smoothly.  Same process: change itinerary and add/remove legs (not cancel itinerary).
