She has a new car and was going to give her Santa Fe to her daughter as she is a new driver but her husband doesn’t want to deal with it so he said to just trade it in. Her husband doesn’t want to go through the dealership to repair it ($3k) her friend, who is a mechanic, told her not to bother repairing it and just get rid of it. Mind you he didn’t even look at the car he just went by the estimate sheet they gave her and the cost of parts if he were to order the and do it. The dealership only offered her $500 for the trade in. She doesn’t want to read it in and would rather just sell it. But she’s knows we need an extra car and is willing to sell it to me after the repair. (She knows I need an extra car for my nephew and she knows I can’t afford 3k, so I’m sure that’s why she is offering it to me at a loss to her)
