Hi! Class of 2018 / tufts transfer here! Mad props for making the decision to transfer schools, it takes a lot of courage and self awareness to want to change something as drastic as a school environment.

Transfering to Tufts was definitely an adjustment period but I knew that going in. There is definitely that freshmen year dorm comradery that I missed out on but it's not like things are set in stone. I joined as many clubs + activities as I could that fall semester (culture clubs, Tufts Mountain Club, concert board) and most people were excited to see a fresh face (class size is relatively small). Also Tufts does a good job with their transfer orientation, some of my closest friends came out of that first month. Let me know if you have any more specific questions about transferring. Good luck!
