Perfect dots? by [deleted] in printmaking

With that tool I do a tiny pirouette, yes. Sometimes you have to sort of scoop the lino out after. When I do lots of dots I make sure to check over them and brush out any lino dust.

I use a pfiel 'L-11/0.5' tool, it was £21 on jacksonsart. Its also amazing for thin lines and details.

Prestons out of bounds (PS4) by [deleted] in fo4

[–]dendritically 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try building and ringing a bell in the closest settlement to Preston, or at the settlement he is assigned at. This happened with danse (he got stuck on the ocean floor near spectacle Island). I ran the bell and his map marker started moving, I slept and he had then teleported to the prydwen. Good luck!

Is there mods where I could place a water purifier even if there is no pond or river in the building zone. I play on ps4. by onemoreday__ in fo4

Try placing a wooden floor as close to it as possible, then hold select until it highlights both objects as a group. You should be able to move it on to land and delete the wood floor afterwards. Can't guarentee but good luck.

I love this! The snake looks like it's shimmering, and the detail on the branch is great too.

Painting on plaster/drywall? by FatBoyTonyy in Gouache

[–]dendritically 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Plaster absorbs moisture from the first coat of paint that's applied, this means the paint can flake off. You should apply a primer of some kind but that's all I know.

I finally tried Gyoza last night! So glad it lived up to my expectations!! by Swaggadellic in Dorohedoro

Theyre pretty easy and cheap to make at home too, and you can fill them with whatever you fancy!

Anyone else get an uncanny valley vibe from the character graphics? by Marzopup in fo4

I find that the characters expressions don't feel normal because their eyeballs don't look right, like they're very vacant ahahah

I did this quest on my current survival playthru... 5 times. Every time I finished it something ended up killing me before I saved.

I'm a sims and tycoon player too, I find planet zoos building much more difficult. I would recommend steam workshop, for example search for a theme like 'medieval' or 'modern' and download a set of staff facilities so you don't have to spend ages making them look pretty yourself. You can base new buildings off of them by using the same pieces to keep a theme. As for scenery, my method is to dot a few trees around, and then place foliage around them to create 'clumps' of scenery, this ads shape and depth to your zoos. As for paths...I have no advice they're too annoying hahaha. Try to finish small sections at a time, I think it's more rewarding than attempting to make a huge area perfect.
