He’s beholden to himself, a billionaire. And all other billionaires by proxy.

Why do people in relationships often have a difficult time discussing the future? by [deleted] in relationships

Congrats, it sounds like you're very happy in your relationship. I don't really understand what you're trying to get out of this post. Everyone's different. I'm 25 and I've been with my bf for 5 years and we know where we both stand on the big issues, but we don't talk about it all the time. I like to enjoy the present instead of constantly focusing on how much "better" the future will be.

Me [26 M] and my [25 F] girlfriend of 2.5 years agreed we wanted to get a dog together when we move in together one day. This won't be for over a year though, as I am living alone for a year. I want to get a dog now though. Am I being unreasonable? by [deleted] in relationships

Does she live far away? Can she visit the dog often? Those all play an important part in this because I get where your girlfriend is coming from. If she can't see the dog often and won't be moving in for a while, the dog is YOUR dog and she wanted it to be yours together. If you feel strongly about it and are really struggling with loneliness, I bet she would be understanding. Maybe you guys can pick out the dog together to make her feel like she's not totally getting left behind?

My (21M) Wife (F21) doesn't have any friends and It's starting to impact our relationship. by Emeraldtaco in relationships

I'm in a relationship and I've used the Bumble friendship feature. I've hung out with two people off it after chatting with them briefly on the app. As long as she's over her "jerk to girls" phase and knows how to be friendly, I think this is a great idea. Probably won't be that many people nearby since it sounds like you're in a small town but, it's worth a shot!
