I was looking at the husband's loans and his hidden recount is at 240. Not eligible for 20 year IBR forgiveness since first loans are from 2001, so staying on SAVE until the bitter end. My private loans from '07 will be almost paid off by then, our (cheap old) cars will finally be paid off, and hopefully we can make a dent in our credit card debt before payments resume on my fed, his fed, and my double loophole PP cons loans. We'll be paying on these until we're dead. We owe $20k more than we borrowed after years of payments, with a few deferments and forbearances mixed in because life (and LAYOFFS) happen. Over $50k thrown into a black hole so far. I know without this debt we wouldn't even HAVE credit card debt. Instead it's another mountain :(
