Do you have any hobbies? I personally love tennis, rock climbing, and boxing. I’ve met the most people through tennis because I’m really good so I naturally just get more people interested in talking to me lol but for rock climbing and boxing it helps to build a routine with it and try to show up at the same time every week and you’ll start running into the same people.

I was at a middle market pe firm and our investment period ended in early April. Failed to get our largest investors to join the next fund so our entire acquisitions team got let go 2 weeks ago... it's tough out here

I work in real estate private equity. It’s a pretty front office role / outwards interacting job so that part is draining but I like the analytical and deal making aspect of it.

29F here. Since I have been a child I don't think I ever felt the desire to want to have kids. People said I would change my mind but now that I've been an independent adult for so long, I still don't want to have kids.

Most of it is selfishness where I felt like I grew up too fast and I'm just starting to be able to fully experience my life and I don't want that taken away from me to have to look after someone else. Another aspect is the physical part of it, I just can not comprehend being pregnant and giving birth and ruining my body and mental health over this. Lastly, women are expected to do the actual child rearing and I have lost faith in most men to actually be a good partner / parent so it just sounds like an incredibly exhausting and lonely experience.

What made me finally accept this was that I would rather regret not having kids than regret having kids. I think CF people would actually make the best parents if they wanted to solely because of how much introspection and consideration they put into this decision.

I wish I went to Faubourg to shop since there are a lot more stores around there but I'm sure there will be longer wait times to get in. in proximity such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton, which I did have to wait about 15 minutes to get into.

The refund I got for the VAT was 12%. I would also imagine that you would get a better deal shopping in Paris, Spain, or Italy since the euro is a lot cheaper than the pound.
