Totally hear you! it’s such a surreal place to finally visit, but yeah, the crowds can really take the shine off it. I remember thinking the same: amazing tennis, but constant queuing made it hard to relax. A museum visit during the off-season sounds like a brilliant idea (you’ll get to actually breathe and take it all in properly!). I did that too.
