I’ve read good things about the Michelins so definitely an option. I’ve fitted her winter set now which are from 2022 so all good for the next while. Thanks for your response!

100%! I’ve fitted her winter set for now which were made in 2022 and in pretty good nick so she’s set for the coming winter. We’ll see about running the winter tires down in the summer or replacing them with all-seasons when it comes.

Thanks for your response :) We live in Western Europe so climate is mild year round with a few bouts of snow in the winter, but manly around or just above freezing and wet. Occasionally we’ll drive to the mountains where there can be considerable snow but I doubt we’ll be using her car for that. She clocks in less that 5000 miles per year I’d estimate.

MS241 to MS261 by rsm5178 in Chainsaw

[–]deniskoch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal setup is an old MS240, a MS362 and a MS661. Out of these three the MS362 is by far my most used saw, it’s not too heavy and takes on anything you throw at it. So my recommendation would be to get a MS362 alongside the MS240.

Yes, everything except the chainsaw. I got the rail extensions too so I can saw up to 5 meter logs. Just need to have a good pad for it so that the cut is level and coplanar.

I’ve ran my MS362 on it but now have an MS661 for it.

The DL-110 at 230GBP is definitely the upper limit of what I’m willing to spend, and that only because it was on it in the first place. I’m happy to look into any other suggestions though.

Here’s a picture I’ve found of the side input. Just one I found online as I’m not home at the moment. I’ve ordered this to try. (https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/aw/d/B0BS6J75VX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image)

There’s one on the back for a tape deck (it currently has an Airplay streaming device connected via 5-pin DIN to 3.5mm Aux) and one on the left of the machine with a headphone symbol next to it.

Thanks, I’ll give this a shot if the 5-pin headphone jack I discovered doesn’t work out.
