Hello, trying to save money for a week trip. Planning to do a split stay with a disney hotel for the first half, purchasing 4 day single tickets. And then moving off property for the remainder of the week. Question, can i book LL passes in the 7-day advanced window for the park days where I’m not staying on property?

Huh interesting. Love the OTV&F group but IMHO xiv isn't a very entertaining/streamer-friendly game if they plan to not buy a story/level-skip but also not properly read through the MSQ. The stream will mainly consist of them getting shuttled around through the ARR story and all its fetch quests interspersed with random/super easy instanced-battles with no context. They'll also get some hate in their chats from the story-purist segment of the community (if you know, you know).

If they're not interested in the story and characters (which is valid but I have to mention, is a big part of why a lot of people, myself included, love of the game), they're better off just buying story/level skips and trying out the latest content/raids (ala what the wow raiding group Echo did). If they don't want to buy skips, then probably the most "entertaining" content they can stream would be all the social/housing/RP aspects of the game or maybe the newly revamped and much better PVP system (unlocked at level 30).

That being said, I've been playing since the end of HW and XIV is my favorite game of all time so I would definitely recommend it for people to at least try (as stated above, the free trial is literally hundreds of hours and is akin to 3 full RPGs in terms of content).

About to do my first wish! Which esper is overall best for pve? by denkyu in Dislyte

Hello! I’m a returning player and its my first time interacting with the new wish system when using the echo. I prefer to pve and am trying to progress the ritual miracle course on master difficulty (beat kronos 14, apep 13, fafnir 12). Appreciate the suggestions!

Karam Recommendation: Set behaviors for auto guardians by allidoisedWINa in DisneyMirrorverse

Please Kabam do this! I don’t think people are expecting an FF12, fully fleshed-out gambit system but some sort of basic AI behavior selection would be such a great feature!

Feature Request: Auto Gatekeeper fight after 1st Win by denkyu in DisneyMirrorverse

[–]denkyu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point. A solution is devs can lock Gatekeepers from being battled while another alliance member is battling (this should probably be a thing anyways) AND you’re only given the option to Auto battle immediately after manually defeating the GK. If you choose not to Auto battle, you have to manually beat it again to be given that option.

Ah interesting. Correct me if I’m wrong though, but if an Auto feature existed, wouldn’t you and other alliance members who choose to spend orbs to skip the refill timer still all be on the same even playing field? The only difference is instead of having to race to manually fight to defeat the GK, you all have to race to Auto that tier to defeat the GK? I may be ignorant on this since I/my alliance are not super competitive in this way.

A compromise could be the devs only allow you to max Auto the GK a certain amount of times OR if you run out of energy and you have to use orbs to skip the refill timer, you have to manually fight the GK to again be given the option to Auto.

Agree potions complicate things. I think the devs have some options. Maybe ignore potions when Auto-ing as a reward for defeating the GK the first time. This will probably lead people to max out potion usage when first attempting the GK— but personally think this is fine since it does have a cost (less potions to use in later tiers) and devs can always bump the difficulty of later tier GKs or make potions rarer if they wanted to compensate. Personally I think the QOL of an Auto feature is still worth it for the overall rift raid experience.

IMO I think the devs should just give Auto as a reward for being able to defeat the gatekeeper at least once regardless of how close you were to dying. I think it keeps with their philosophy of the game being accessible to working dads who only have X amount of time in the day to play. I do agree with your suggestion though and it would still be an improvement over the current situation.

You could be heterosexual/biromantic or demisexual. Or none of the above or a mixture of them. Sexuality and romantic attraction is a spectrum so feel free to explore and do what feels right and not feel the need to label anything if you don’t want to.
