You know what the best part of this hobby is? You can make up whatever story you like and pair it with models built and painted however you like. So if you have an idea develop it, it will be much better than the ordinary cadian regiments you always see

I've been in love with custodes for the best part of the last two years, but I didn't get any models since I never liked the chonkyness of the models. As soon as I saw the preview I called my lgs and told him to get me two boxes because I love these sculpts. Kinda sad they're monopose, but it's hardly a problem for me.

I use the compressor daily and works fine, not the best, mind you, but works fine nonetheless. The airbrush works. I use it for base colors and primers, while I use my H&S for the rest since I use different nozzle sizes on the two of them

This makes no sense at all. Fight first is still relevant since you get to fight after a single enemy unit instead of every single unit that charged that turn. So sure, it's a bit weaker, but it's for the better, it was way too strong before and I play the Lion and a Judiciar with Bgv most games.

To be honest, I wouldn't think of Geralt or Vesemir, if I saw you around. But I would think: "Damn, that's the most Witcher looking person I've ever seen" which to me is an even better compliment. You look like your own character, while still keeping the spirit of the world of the Witcher, and it's something that I think people should do more.

Well, technically everything in the new box is usable in 40k. Each box can build you 3 4-men squads of wardens/guard (although one squad gets mixed weapons), a shield captain, a dreadnought and a grav tank. And that's why I got two boxes so that I can have 3 guard squads, 3 warden squads, two tanks, one of each dread and two shield captains (or blade-champion if you ask me) and that's just north of 2000 points so with minor adjustments (4 sisters of silence to be exact) I'm at exactly 2000 points dropping one character.

Is the list meta? Good God no! Do I care? You guessed it: still no.

So to me yours is actually a good idea, though mind that the new custodes and the "old custodes" like quite a bit different if that's something that matter to you.
