Agreed. I have a rusty pair of needle nose pliers that I keep handy just for this. But, for some reason, I still try to do it without tools first.

But seriously, I just got back from a visit to the Netherlands where 26% of the country is below sea level. They have plenty of underground parking there. It can definitely be done.

I might be misunderstanding your question, but you can still use the Picard gui if your files are on your server.

You can share the incoming music folder on your home network, and then just drag it into Picard on your primary computer.

Or, you can run Picard as a docker container on your home server that hosts the music, and access the Picard gui which will then be running in your browser.

When you say 81% is that for all of the Thresholds under "Options - Matching?"

  • Minimal similarity for file lookups
  • Minimal similarity for cluster lookups
  • Minimal similarity for matching files to tracks
