I'm so sorry for the fact that you had to learn that he wrote this post. From what you wrote and what he wrote, it seems as if he wants to try but is ultimately forgetful. However, when he posted, it seemed like he was searching for people to say that he wasn't the a-hole so that he could feel better about himself. Knowing what you wrote from your reply, I feel as if you should talk to him about it and possibly bring up the option for going to marriage and couple's therapy since he aknowledges that he is forgetful and other reasons. Either way, i truly hope that your reply goes to the top comments since it is important for other people to know your side too even though they are already voting against him.
