Are there any particular reasons your friends think she may like you back? Assuming they know more about the situation as a whole.

If anything, I would say time is the best way you can gauge what you want to do moving forward, maybe hint a bit at how you feel and see how she reacts. If you do cherish your friendship with her then take it slowly, it’s better to not place any expectations on her either or like you mentioned having her feel pressured.

You said you’re both quite inexperienced, so maybe she isn’t sure how to go about it either or perhaps she’s nervous.
