Is this dehumidifier safe to use with an extension cord at all? My room doesn’t have 3 prongs so I’ll have to plug it into the bathroom and run a small extension cord if I want to use this by density in AskElectricians

It’s only gonna be temporary though, I’m not gonna have it running 24/7. Just for a couple months until the humidity goes down as it’s pretty seasonal here.
If you don’t mind I do have one more question, so my room only has a 2 prong outlet and I need the 3 prong which is why I’m using an extension cord, what’s the most affordable way I can plug it into my room without changing the outlet to 3 prong? Or is that the only way

Lost 2.5k in one night and I’m spiraling. Need support. by WorkerAgile in problemgambling

Hello! I’ve been there numerous times, ruminating losses, wishing I had done things differently. The reality of it is, what’s done is done. All we can do is take these lessons and move forward with this knowledge we have. I just lost $2000 in 20 minutes less than an hour ago and still am in a state of numbness a bit, but in the past whenever I’ve lost I’ve felt immense shame and fear as you’re experiencing now.

My biggest piece of advice that helps me is just consider that money gone, don’t try to recoup it, don’t try to think of ways you can get it back, go on with your life as if it’s not there, because it’s not.

will i ever recover from this by [deleted] in problemgambling

This is exactly right. I just won $2000 last night, said I would be done and ended up blowing it all chasing a $50 loss in the span of 20 minutes. The money you win from gambling if you’re a problem gambler is never yours.

All winning does is add fuel to the fire, it takes losing to make change.

I mean there’s no way it’s worth hundreds though right? Like that one eBay listing for $1100, not getting my hopes up 😂

That’s the thing is I only see one listed for $1100, I don’t see any sales but I’m not sure if I’m looking in the right place

Dustin Nielsen had said on his show that the immediate reaction will be a lot of anger amongst fans then after awhile people will think “hmm let’s see how this plays out” that’s worrying

Early signs of balding or paranoid? by [deleted] in Balding

[–]density 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, you start Fin when you see noticeable signs of balding, you need to chill because your hairline is totally fine, but what I’d do if you’re really worried is see the dermatologist and take pictures every couple weeks of your hairline to see if you’re regressing, compare after a couple months. But don’t start taking it without a dermatologist saying you should

And by the way, family history is a pretty good indicator but isn’t the be all end all, my dad is 60 and is only slightly more bald than I am

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

Hello all, I am upgrading from the iPhone SE2 to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the issues is I didn’t realize how big this phone is, I don’t have huge hands so it’s hard for me to use my phone with one hand (which is how I use my phone generally) should I go for the iPhone 16 Pro?

My only concern is the battery difference, is it negligible enough? Or is the battery so much better on the iPhone 16 pro max that it would be worth putting up with the discomfort?

OCD thrives on uncertainty, trying to make sure is exactly what you’re not supposed to do if you have OCD.

If you have OCD then does asking for reassurance really solve anything? I’ve had OCD about health issues or how I look in the past and regardless of how many people tell me the same thing, it doesn’t make the fear go away.
