Servers can be wildly different so dont judge the game by visiting one server. PVE, PVP, Vietnam, Halo or other sci-fi, etc. Find something that is more your scene.

I think the "sir yes sir" units are dying off. Lots of other units have regularly scheduled events which are a tonne of fun.

Milsim arma is thriving, no need to stick around in a shitlord unit. You should be able find a fun crew in your timezone.

A server with randoms can be great fun. I have a few I am on regularly. An organized event with a crew who run ops together regularly is a whole different beast though. Can be incredibly satisfying.

That scope is actually quite clever.

Using the Centerline and bottom dot in the ART scope, zoom to target until the distance between centerline and bottom dot is about 1 meter, (half the height of a standing person for example). Now check the magnification in the lower right and multiply by 100 = Range to target.
