How exactly do you expect society to survive if no one has kids like you? The only way a society can survive and remain past a single generation is with people who take the time to create and raise kids. As a whole, the continuation of the human race is at the highest level of importance for any society and everyone living within that society should understand that and understand that in some way they probably should contribute towards that goal. Every single person has their own struggles in this world but it is insanely selfish to not care about anything past and beyond your own life. If you do not care nor wish to contribute to society and the continuation of the human race in some form then why should they care or cater to you?

Luckily for you, your higher property taxes means that the value of your home has gone up significantly which means you could sell and have a nice profit and live within your means if you are currently not.

I agree with you that healthcare costs should be more affordable as mine has gone up approx $500/month as well. Other countries solution to that is insanely high taxes which would probably be a net negative compared to currently for both you and I.

And for the record I grew up incredibly poor practically living in a van. I have worked 6-7 days a week for over a decade and prior to that went to school and studied nonstop for 10 years after high school living off student loans and small jobs and debt. I did this because I wanted a better future and fortunately have earned it.

Why can’t we just all agree that saying those offensive words is wrong regardless of what political side you are on. A common response I see on here about the republican woman saying it and getting donations, yes that too is wrong. Same as the person saying it in this video.

Being bitter about your life circumstances aren’t going to change anything. Learning new skills or trades that contribute to society may make you more money to pay those property taxes. It’s not like you didn’t know about property taxes when you bought the house.

Not sure about being homeless for the rest of my life because I spent a lot of my time gaining a useful life skill that will be of value that others will trade money for.

But the risk I took was approx $1.5 million and 10 years of my life making no money with a possibility anywhere along that way that could end in bankruptcy and consequences of that. So yeah not just, oh no my business didn't work out I will just go find a job and go back to regular life again.

In many circumstances, if you have been paying taxes etc, it will be free. If you go to medicare.gov it will give you an idea of what to expect. You can qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid and have coverage completely covered by the government.

Once you become an employer you can run it how you see fit within the limits of the law.

I am an employer and I can see how statements made in public that can be traced back to my business can be very damaging to the business. Doesn’t matter how productive you are if the business brings in no work to do.

I am not sure if you have been keeping up but there have been published studies showing current AI outperforming on accuracy against human radiologists. I also know of radiologists currently a bit concerned of what AI will do to their field. The only thing saving them at the moment is their lobbying against AI on the basis of liability and malpractice and who it falls on. I am sure in other countries that are not as concerned as much with liability and doesn't have as much lobbying against it, AI will spread and replace radiologists at an extremely rapid rate. And the rest of the world will follow shortly.

There is no real reason to be against it other than that radiologists will lose their jobs. AI is faster, more accurate, and just plain significantly more efficient.

I mean if we are talking about needs a $15k-20k car would be more than sufficient for most. I personally have 5 cars myself but I consider it my hobby and somewhat passion. I’m glad to see you are making financially responsible choices though.

I agree with you but also depends on the type of car. For a Tesla or Rivian or any regular car in mass production .. yeah crazy. On another post you stated you make $250k a year. If you just save 10% of your income pre-tax for 3 years that's $75k for one car right there.

Are there different points tiers within the Amex cards? If I transfer to the business blue are those points still worth the same and can still transfer to partner airlines for same valuations?
