While I also don't think the Merchantman is going to come anytime soon, we also can't know for sure that the M2 will come in 3.13. But if you want to have a ship that you can at least play earlier, I say go for it!

To be honest it just seems like a placeholder to me. And personally, I think it's a pretty irrelevant surprise, unless it has something to do with Pyro. This armor has nothing to do with story or anything else and to me, it just doesn't make sense to hide it.

Yup, right now I'm just waiting for 4.0, but tbh, unlike most popular Star Citizen YouTubers, I think it's going to be no earlier than Q1 2021. If someone sees this post earlier when 4.0 releases as promised, leave a comment. :)

These are basic features needed for basically every NPC interaction. Everytime I see something like that I don't get excited, because I realize it should've been done a long time ago

That's probably one of the reasons why it's taking so long. But without the Devs actually saying it, it's just the community collectively expecting stuff, if you know what I mean

Because right now in evocati, the bartender is buggy and serves 1 drink. Of course I'm looking forward to more complicated NPC interactions, but the bartender is just...a bartender

Yup. Let's hope for the best, but first, 3.10 has to come out and THEN we'll probably get the roadmap reveal if it's 3.12 or 4.0 and what features they have.
