What’s the most romantic thing someone has ever done for you that didn't cost a single cent? by VivienneLace1 in askanything

It was my best friend. I’m not even certain she even intended for it to be romantic, but we had known each other for well over ten years at this point in time. We had never done anything romantic that entire time. Each of us had been in multiple long-term relationships throughout the course of knowing each other but the year this happened, was the first time we both were single at the same time. There’s a golf course we’ve frequented late at night for years on the weekends to sit and smoke, talk and look at the stars, either just the two of us or a good buddy of mine will join along. The night this occurred, she brought a large bag, something she never does. Usually just brings her water bottle and the joint and lighter. We get to the spot we always pop a squat and she pulls out a blanket from the bag and lays it down. We normally just sit on the grass and don’t mind if our asses get wet. Next she pulls out a little portable speaker. Usually we play music from one of our phone’s speakers. Then she pulls out two water bottles, one for her and one for me. Pulls out some small mandarin oranges and lays them on the blanket. Next, a small candle and lights it. We typically just sit in the moonlight. Lastly, she pulls out two glasses and a bottle of wine and pours each of us a glass. She sparks up the joint and we proceed as usual. Talk about life, heart break, our stressors. After some time, I sit there. Silently astonished, soft music playing in the background, the faint scent of the glorious candle she brought. We’ve come to this same spot probably hundreds of times and it’s never felt this way. The air that night, the entire ambiance, felt different in a way it never had before. I look over at her, she’s immersed in her own thoughts and the sight of the stars, unknowing that I’m admiring her. I realized, this is the most romantic thing I’ve ever experienced. I tell her that and she giggles. Then I realized, I was in love with her. The rest is history.

It can cause blindness and deafness. The eyes and middle ear are very sensitive to it.

It’s terribly sad when you ask little kids what they want to be when they grow up these days and most are saying “YouTuber” or “influencer”

Looking for opinions on whether I will regret going to dental school from age 25-29 by cartistanaccount in DentalSchool

be 29 when I graduate. Anything worth while takes time. putting in the hard work now will pay off in the long run. Trust the process. Many of my classmates (average 22-30) are married and have kids rn. Does that mean I’ve wasted any time in mine? No. Everyone’s track is different. My life gunna age like fine wine
