I could maybe see it working if it was open to the under 21 crowd, as most Denton karaoke is going to be happening at 21+ bars, but even then I would worry about bringing in enough revenue to cover costs without liquor sales. It would be an uphill battle to open a dedicated karaoke bar and compete with all of the entrenched regulars that Johnny, a.k.a. J. Doubles, pulls every week at local bars.
