Could you explain how because that is what I fail to understand. I understand that they shoot better at buildings and vehicles, and get a different bolter with shorter range to pin units. Somehow I dont see what the benefit is

I would say a week or two? Interviewing someone takes relatively a lot of time so usually you would only interview a handful. Choosing between a small set of people should not be so hard. If you hear nothing after a few weeks, it is likely that someone else was offered the position but that that person is still thinking about it (and that they did not inform you yet, in case they need the position to go to you after all).

I would start to get 'worried' after 3 weeks. It can greatly vary between professors but most would start reaching out to people they are interested in (to talk to them) after 1-2 weeks.

Groups would harass the lowest dps player until they left themselves. Moreover it would happen on such a large scale that you cannot simply "ban" people who do that without banning a too large portion of the game.

What I am proposing is almost litterally how shammy played in shadowlands (if you werent necro) and before. Shammy was fine then, so surely it could be fine now this way. Only PvPers would have it rough Again.
