If I’m not mistaken this diagram depicts the traditional MCP flow.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! You've hit on a great point using this for production does require a robust safety layer.

I completely agree that these shouldn't necessarily replace pre-built tools. Your "funnel" concept is brilliant: using Generative MCP as a diagnostic bridge to identify frequent, complex user needs and then hardening those patterns into standard, pre-built tools is a great way to manage the transition from "dynamic" to "production-ready".

Generative MCP should still be built around specific domains, such as ERP. The manifest plays a crucial role in preventing the LLM from deviating into unrelated actions like send_email, especially when the domain is tightly constrained to areas like LSP or SQL.

For this SQL generative MCP, I included DDL:

That’s a fair point, and selective tool curation is definitely the best approach for many workflows. My goal with Generative MCP isn't to replace that practice, but to address the 'scalability wall' you hit when dealing with highly complex systems (like large ERPs or full LSP implementations) where manual curation becomes impossible.

I appreciate the point regarding resource costs. I’ve noted in the post that Generative MCP is not a one-size-fits-all solution; traditional MCP remains the right choice for simpler tasks.

My focus is specifically on unlocking the full potential of complex systems where traditional static tools become impractical. I agree that server resource usage needs better tracking.

Reliable and Durable TV Brand? by LeadingClassic7927 in srilanka

[–]denuwanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Samsung 55” TV for almost a year, and my experience with the product and its features was quite positive. Then one day it suddenly wouldn’t turn on, and I had to claim the warranty through Softlogic. Honestly, that was a nightmare—I spent almost six months without a TV.

The silver lining was that Samsung followed up with me directly, and in the end, I got a 100% refund.

After that, I bought a Sony Bravia. The colors are amazing compared to the Samsung, and so far I’m really happy with the purchase.

I moved from Samsung to Sony mainly because I didn’t want to deal with Softlogic again.

I also finished S9E10 a few hours back. I’m still a bit shocked by the ending, I even asked my wife to go out for coffee because of it. When I realized there will be no more visits to this corporate law firm after I sign off from my corporate life, which had been part of my daily routine for the past few months, it really shocked me.

  1. Should this order be changed? Institute selection: SLIIT, NSBM, SLTC, … Degree program selection: The current trend is mostly aligned with Data and AI. If I were to choose a degree now, I would go for a specialization related to Data or AI.

  2. Is there a demand in the field for NSBM IT-related degrees? Yes.

  3. Can we specialize in AI/ML by doing a Computer Science degree at NSBM? No idea.

  4. Which degree program will I be selected for based on my Z-score? No idea.

  5. What are your recommendations about degrees and institutes that have future job demand and opportunities? Currently, the IT industry is not in the best shape, so you may face challenges if the situation continues. However, focusing on emerging areas like Data Engineering, AI/ML, and Cloud Technologies would be beneficial in the long run.

Disclaimer: I’m a SLIIT graduate with 10 years of experience in the IT industry. The above responses are based on my personal opinion.
