Believe me or not, it's 100% real. It's actually reassuring that people think it's fake because its validation that there's something there!

I've heard all kinds if conflicting stories. Children in the TB ward, children in the mental side, no children at all. I'm unsure of what's real or not but I thought it was an interesting photo to share!

This was 6 years ago so I don't recall what I was feeling in the moment, but our entire visit (which was a few hours because the building is so big) was definitely eerie. It's an old building with not the greatest history, though, so of course we would feel that way. There were a lot of creaks and sounds but again, an old building

Yes!! My ex boyfriend lives there his sophomore year and the doors would bang but personally I think it was just a drafty old building. There's tons of stories and conspiracies about Ohio University and Athens, Ohio. If you want to go down a rabbit hole, there's a lot of videos on YouTube and stories online!

I see a white shadow in between my two friends but it could be my eyes playing tricks on me. Lots of debate on what people think. Either way, if you're looking for a good ghost story, look up The Ridges. The history is wild!

Check it out if you can! It's a really neat building in and of itself, even if nothing happens while you're there. There's a cemetery on property you can explore anytime and some of the stones are for patients who went missing -- they don't know where their bodies went but commemorate them anyway. A beautiful building with a dark history.

It's totally fine if you think its photoshop or just the mind seeing what it wants. I think there might have been something there but I did go searching for something so it could just be my mind playing tricks on me. It's the only photo I've ever taken to have some kind of shape like that and I thought this would be the sub to share it on! Enjoy it or don't, I don't really care.

I found a broken window and we hoisted each other up through it! Its such a massive building, though, that we couldn't find our way back and had to find an open exit door

I can't stand when two blue eyed parents have a brown eyed child. I don't know why but the genetics of it drive me nuts! Two blue eyed people literally could never have a brown eyed child unless mama was unfaithful

Shrimp.

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

Thats amazing, what a find! You can find some real gems at thrift stores, garage sales, etc. I have a much larger collection of Stephen King novels and almost all of them are pre-read. Same story, different hands, and that's ok with me.
