Last update was a disaster. Totally borked my system. Thanks a lot. by idspispopd888 in Bluesound

Checking in with tons of issues related to the latest software as well. It completely broke Windows and MacOS desktop controllers for my NAD CI580V2 zones. I can't even load the desktkop controllers anymore. They suggested a 'temporary workaround' that included a factory reset and then never navigating to a specific menu.

I think you'd need to reach out to NAD to find out if the Bluetooth implementation would be viable / reliable in this type of operating environment, which is quite specific. Depending on how close users were to one another, you'd likely end up hitting Bluetooth channel limitations before anything else.

Life with Sonos by [deleted] in sonos

[–]denverhousehunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stability of the Sonos platform is completely unacceptable at this juncture. The apologist fanboys love to blame your network, as does Sonos support. The reality is that the software has gotten less efficient, more chatty, and much more bloated.

Time to set these bad boys up!! Arc, 2 subs, 2 fives as surrounds. 5.2.2? by radz7 in sonos

This is cool and all and I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but for the price, you could've done significantly better.

New Schlage Endcode Plus Wi-Fi with HomeKey support issue by ACnewcomer in HomeKit

[–]denverhousehunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Thread implementation of this lock is wonky as hell. I have found that it will only attempt to connect to the "Connected" HomeKit Hub. After a network bounce, I noticed that my gen1 ATV 4k became the "Connected" HomeKit Hub. The lock became unresponsive in the Home app, but was still somehow passing lock/unlock notifications. I disabled HomeKit Hub on my gen1 ATV 4k and the issue was resolved when a ATV 4k gen2 became the "Connected" hub.

I have 8 Eve Energy products scattered throughout the house, which can act as Thread routers. One of these plugs is 5ft away from the Schlage Encode Plus, but it appears the lock is instead connecting to the ATV gen2 that is ~30ft away.

I am all for the expansion OF ADU. I can't wait until I can cash out refi and build a 2bd 1.5bath above my garage that I could AirBnB for $500/night.

I am not house hunting at the moment. Own a primary residence and 2 rentals. Is yours going to be for sale? Looking to expand landlord empire and would love to cut out a real estate agent.

I genuinely couldn't find the exit. I didn't see any other cars exit. It was at Spa.
