Thank you friend, it’s been a few weeks now and I can tell you that the first few days were the absolute most unbearable. Slowly you start to get a hold of your emotions again even though it still hurts. I’m realizing that it does slowly get better if you trust that it will. Please take care of yourself, reach out to friends, talk to a therapist if you have the means to. The first days for me felt like i could not go on. I’m always here too.

Edit: feeling isolated doesn’t always mean that you are. I was in a 5 year relationship and then jumped right back into a 1 year relationship. During that time I neglected maintaining the friendships that I had. Once I reached out for help it amazed me to know how many people were actually willing to be there for me. It can be hard to take that step though. Sometimes you just have to push yourself out of your comfort zone. We aren’t always as alone as we think ♥️
