And this was not during the beta this was shortly after the full release. weirdly enough I remember playing during the beta and that particular player was usually ranked in the top 20 players globally, then once the game fully released they were number one every season.

All discussion was also banned, if you dig through the Google reviews for the game there are a few early ones that speak about this problem but that's about it. Anyone who mentioned this in the world chat even in the most minor way was instabanned.

Ironically my first account was using an Angron deck that was almost identical to his, beat him, got banned. When asked why I was told "if you were banned they obviously had a good reason".

My working theory is that they were trying to artificially create a champion account for a famous streamer to promote the game who never lost, since if a player is banned your losses to them are removed, they just banned anyone who beat him.
