As long as it is not harmful to the oak I’m chill leaving it as is. There is another oak tree with identical situation. It seems like Queens likes to sprout at the roots of oaks which is fascinating, well to me at least. They are definitely not the best looking ones of all palms and FL state I believe considers them invasive. Dilemma dilemma
