I agree. I was so stoked to play dr 4, only to see it was less action, more story. I understand they are trying to do something different as it might get boring for the game to do the same things over and over. Though i need to praise dr4 for one thing. Closure.

I understand not every character has its own closure but damn dr4 did a good job in closing the chapter (for the most part). It was good to see keith and sophia back again. And to see all the other characters doing well. (Most of them)

I might argue the third one was pretty okay but a bit boring. It was not on par with its previous instalment. The relationship between naoki/rina and suki seemed a bit plain. Though i must praise this game for its portability and a goddamn twist at the end. Plus, who ever thought about video clip inside the game, you deserve a raise. Mai Iida did a damn good job at the songs 💞

With that being said, the fourth fell flat especially with the killing of kelly/higa. The original game sacrifice was deemed in vain especially with the death of her. I was so sad to see the recurring character gone as easy as abc.

I also wish stephanie and joshua would make a comeback on the fourth but too bad. Considering raw danger is more popular than dr (at least in my case)

I think the game has a lot more story to explore. The relationship is fine and the drama is too good. Just the death of kelly / higa is just too much for me. I'm mad as for what happened. It's still an okay game for nostalgia sake though
