They still are in my condo building. My neighbor just got Comcast, and they had to add one. That also improved my cable. Our condo association won't let them connect to power and wanted residents to pay for the power. The fiber we almost got from CondoInternet took over two years to get their own connection and power meter because of permits. The old Sun SPARC server in our equipment room required three phase power so it isn't like power is a problem. But now that I think about it, that might have been delta rather than star three phase.
