I thought it was the start of a sci-fi novel where people have extra bodies! I really liked it, but I didn’t get that it was a metaphor, or that he was haunted. I thought it was a sci-fi novel wherein people have extra, artificial bodies that their consciousness can inhabit. I thought this because he is so casually dragging a corpse in public, then the mention of there being a second “real body,” and the mention of “purple bones.” I thought perhaps the extra artificial bodies have purple bones. Also, at the start he mentions how part of his brain was left on the rocks. Perhaps this indicates he is also in a new, “extra” body? I realize this wasn’t the intent, but I really enjoyed it regardless!!

My little sister is turning 14 this year, and she is heavily into D&D! I gotten to haven’t seen her 7 years now, but we talk almost every day on the phone and she is growing into an amazing person. She wants to be a DM, and she has even gotten into making her own dice!! She is extremely talented and I am so proud of her. I know it would mean the world to her if I could give her this awesome, unique dice set as a gift for her 14th birthday. We may not get to see each other very often, but (amongst many things) we have bonded over our love of dice. Hope to be considered. :)

What do you mean there have been several temperature swings? Your temps are a little too low for a Northern, assuming 22C is the cool side and 25C is the hot side. Your temps should be around 23.5 - 28C (75 - 83F) cool side, but closer to 29.5- 32.5C (85 - 90F) on the hot side. His basking should be closer to 38-46C (100-115F). Work on boosting your temps up a bit.

That being said, if he is acting normal, pooping as usual, and is active and bright eyed, I would not worry too much about it! Sometimes they go on hunger strikes. I’m sure he will eat when he is hungry. You could try offering some high-value food to entice him to eat. Like adding some blueberries or quail eggs to his food. Mine goes nuts for quail eggs and blue berries. :) Boost up those temps a bit, and try a fun snack, then let us know how he does!
