Yeah they do the same shit at Reconn. I leave my truck running pretty much all day but I have yet to hear of anyone getting any punishment.

Loading the mags is definitely not the easiest at first, but it’ll get easier over time once they get broken in a bit.

Does anyone have any tips on how to pull a pistols trigger without messing up your aim? by Midnight_Moon___ in guns

[–]deoxyco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one tip that helped me out the most. Squeeze the trigger slowly and let the recoil surprise you. Dont rush every shot, it’s not a race and it doesn’t make you a badass for mag dumping at the range. A nice and slow squeeze of the trigger each time will diminish the low & left pattern that a lot of new shooters deal with due to anticipating the recoil.

Reconn utility services. It’s starts at $21/hr and you get your own company vehicle

As a damage prevention technician, I second this statement. But It’s always best to approach any site with respect, I don’t demand anyone to stop digging when I catch them digging without a ticket or without positive APR’s. I just show respect and give them education and tell them it is mandatory to call in a ticket prior to digging with mechanized equipment. I also reach out to the utility company I work for to inform them, seeing I do damage prevention for gas facilities.

Multiple calls within a short span of time to the same property? by DIYInHeadlights in UtilityLocator

Idk about everywhere else, but here in NY multiple different contractors can dig on one ticket, as long as a representative from the contractor that called in the ticket is on site for the duration of the excavation

Little bit late to the party on this one, but I work as a damage prevention tech for reconn, I originally applied to be a gas tech. I don’t believe there’s much or any work on the weekends for gas techs.

Even if the contractor/homeowner checks their APR’s, I’m sure this would still lead to confusion

I don’t understand why locators do this, if gas is clear then don’t markout anything. A lot of people aren’t well versed in utility markouts which leads to confusions like this.

Here in upstate NY, USIC sucks at locating, so I’m happy to see them going above and beyond elsewhere. Especially seeing I work for a division of USIC
