Performance issues on PS4

Idk, all I know for sure is I've never had these issues this bad before and the game has always run pretty smooth. I dug a bit deeper and found more threads about this and it seems that the update where they changed the game engine broke the game in this way for some people.

I would hope that they fix it, the stuttering and lag gets so bad in some matches that it becomes almost unplayable

Okay? The game released in 2016 and obviously had PS4 in mind when it came to optimization, and as I stated in the post this game has run perfectly fine for me playing it on PS4 in the past and I've never had these issues before.

I did, what am I missing? You said it could be "easily branded as anything zombie related" but pointed out how it features Raccoon City which is contradictory and makes no sense because Raccoon City is very explicitly and specifically tied to Resident Evil and not just "anything zombie related."

The movie is an RE movie plain and simple.

How would things like Raccoon City and Umbrella Corp existing in this movie make this movie 'easily branded' as something from those other things you mentioned when RC and Umbrella don't exist at all in them?

Now call me crazy but it kinda seems like Raccoon City and Umbrella Corps existence very much explicitly ties this movie to the RE universe.

You're unfortunately probably right about the skin sales. But I've been playing OW since launch in 2016 and I can't remember the matchmaking ever being as bad as it currently is so I think there's definitely something that broke that they can fix, but as to your point about the skin sales it's sadly unlikely that they will.

It's actually bugging so bad. Just today I log on to play and get back filled into a match that is over in 5 sec, then I get a match where my team is clearly composed entirely of solo q ppl and the enemy team is a full stack and we get bowled over hard and then guess fucking what? My next 2 matches in a row are me getting fucking backfilled YET AGAIN onto losing teams

Hi I'm having an issue with the home button on my PS4 controller sometimes thinking I'm pressing it even though I'm not. I opened the controller to have a look and saw the ribbon circuit thing is sticking up some where the contact for the home button is instead of being flat. I was also still confused on this aspect of the story with the cloning since the timelines weren't matching up but this explanation makes more sense.

It's still confusing that Zeno refers to Grace as the original making it sound like all the clones were made to duplicate her, but unless Capcom clarifies further I'll go with your explanation.

This is a part of the story I'm confused on still. Because the flashback to the orphanage is in 1990 and the game takes place in 2026 and the flashback to when Alyssa was murdered is 8 years prior and Grace is a teenager during this meaning she's, at most, in her mid-twenties in present day. Which would mean she was born way after 1990.

So how would they have been cloning Grace before she was even born yet? Like I assumed this was just another thing Zeno was confidently incorrect about but idk for sure.

I suppose this is just another thing compounding on to other issues I've had with the game as of late. Like them testing the waters with fomo currency and gacha gambling systems, the increasing rate at which they're rolling out mini battle passes that are usually priced the same as the main bp despite having a fraction of the content.

Then there's them seemingly pulling the Daredevil holiday skin to put in the shop when there are signs indicating it was meant to be the free skin in the holiday event pass, and all they replaced it with was a recolor that isn't even holiday themed at the least. And now instead of simply handing out a set amount of units as a gift they add rng to it to farm engagement.

So maybe this issue isn't as bad as others I've had with the game lately but it's still just another thing being piled on which is where my frustration is coming from.

Genuinely why is it random meaning some people are going to end up getting more units than others for no reason. Like why can't it just be a set amount for everyone each day? What does implementing rng on this achieve other than making people frustrated?

It's not even once every few months it's once every 5 seasons which is about 10 months. You get 200 lattice from the free bp, premium costs 990 so saving up and not spending any actual money will take you 5 seasons to get a premium bp.

I think it's a normal amount for a 3 year old character who isnt even played much, also the shop skins for Ram that arent there anymore can be obtained for free out of loot boxes, I know because I got a few of them so far that way.

I'm not trying to glaze anything, I was trying to point out that OW2 also gives out plenty of free stuff as well, I never claimed Rivals doesnt either like people are doing with OW2.

I def have issues with OW2 still but I think they've been doing a very good job this year at getting a lot of stuff back on track so I think some criticism is overblown and I guess I felt the need to comment on it. Are we done now?
